Successful pretreatment

The test pen is used to draw a line on the material to be tested, just like a normal felt-tip pen.The line is applied. If the line remains as a closed surface within the next 2 seconds, the material is pretreated with at least 38 mN/m and printable.

Pretreatment with errors

The test should only be performed on cleaned surfaces, i.e., surfaces prepared for further processing.
The test should be carried out. Contaminated pens and surfaces, e.g., due to fingerprints or oil, can also distort the result.

Inadequate pretreatment

The test pen is used to draw a line on the material to be tested, just like a normal felt-tip pen.applied. If the line contracts within 2 seconds or forms a patchy structure, the material is not pretreated or only insufficiently pretreated.

Safety First
Express Test Pens 38 dyne ensure reliable test results regarding the surface tension of pretreated materials.Test inks and test pens can be used in combination for quality assurance during production, which underlines product conformity according to DIN EN ISO 9001: 2008!
